Lemuroid is an open-source emulator based on Libretro. It's designed to work on a wide range of devices, from phones to TVs, and to provide the best user experience on Android. It's completely free and without ads. I love it. It's the simplest app for mobile emulation I've ever had the pleasure of using. The only things I wish they would do is a better home menu interface. And PLEASEEEE make custom box arts easier to add!! I would love to have my own images for the box arts to make my library more organized, cleaner and more fun to look at!! PLEASEEEE I'm seriously begging you.

A couple of improvements would be much appreciated: 1. Manual in-game orientation control. 2. A screen resize option (like Drastic) for NDS. 3. Quick Save/Load buttons on screen. 4. Customizable filters added by the user. 5. Option to add box arts manually. Overall, Lemuroid is an exceptionally well made emulator. Simple enough so that anyone can set it up and get going, at the same time it is stable, accurate and performs really well even on low end devices. Highly recommended.

I’ve only been using it for a couple of days (mostly for GBA), but I can already say this is definitely an emulator you’ll be grateful to have found. The UI is simple and it's ads free. That said, I do wish they would add an import/export save file feature, so I wouldn’t have to rely on ZArchiver to pull save files from external folders. TIPS for anyone having issues with missing save files: the emulator only create your save after you properly quit the game through the emulator’s menu.
