The game is completely FREE. No strings attached, no energy system, has the old school of unlocking certain weapons and characters. It can also run OFFLINE. The only time you will need to watch an ad is if you would like to revive a 2nd time which is optional. Highly recommended, might also purchase the DLCs to support the devs!

There's more to this game than you would expect. Don't let your first impression about the graphics fool you. The devs had a lot of fun developing this and sprinkle hidden interactions and events all over. DLCs are very affordable for the content. Especially Ode to Castlevania. It is a LOT more content then you'd expect. My only suggestion is to add a Sealing Upgrade for that DLC. There's way to many weapons that I can live without.

A fine port only kept from perfection by a few things. Mainly rare bugs and such but they're fixed in a timely fashion. But don't let that distract you from all the game does right. On top of carrying over well the experience of playing, it is close to PC levels of updates (only a few hours at very most) It is free with the ads only coming up if you want a free revive or more gold at the end of a run with the DLC maintaining their respectable costs.
