A delightful remaster of the classic. I dare say this is the ideal way to play the original as the developers intended. The polished pixel visuals look great, and the enhanced sound and music is as magical as it nostalgic. This is perfect for old-timers like me, and newcomers that want to see where it all began. Only downside is missing some of the old bugs that you could use to cheese the game, as well as lacking remake content but honestly? You don't need it. The game is just fine as is.

I played this in my early years on the NES. This is a beautiful port of this game. I feel they took a great amount of care in porting this over. Improvee graphics and music but I also love the point and click walking interface option instead of the touch screen pad. Also with the added auto save option this makes the game very much a joy to play. Brings back those memories! Well worth the money!

Even aside from the graphics updates and the text and music adjustments, it isn't just a port. The level progression is faster than the original and the level cap is extended. This has the great effect of making the game play more exciting and less grindy than the original (of which I still have a working copy), but it is also easier. The gear is correspondingly cheaper than it used to be and they made a number of minor but well thought out balance changes, which surprised me. Great job!
