Amazing storyline, graphics and gameplay flow. Even though it is a gatcha its not too bad and you can easily finish the game as ftp. The story is quite deep and touches some pretty dark aspects of human interactions (it caught me by surprise really). One thing to consider is maybe adding a tag/warning for possibly disturbing scenes. Other than that i highly recommend giving the game a try!

I LOVE THIS GAME OMG! The graphics and animations are VERY cute, the cutscenes are heartfelt and the gamecore has great attention to detail. the only thing I don't like is that I had to turn to Game.Wiki to understand a lot of the subsection buttons(still don't understand a lot of them) since there was little explanation but once you learn the basic menu options you're set! still a lot to learn on my end but there are so many fun quests and main storyline battles, you could play this forever!!

Being a loyal fan to the SaGa series, I had a lot of difficulty to accept some of it's mechanics, and the way it treated it's open world dynamics. Octopath traveler gathered dust in my steam library for 8 years before I gave it a try. 2 weeks later, I bought the 2nd title, and have since spent over 270 hours on it. OT Cotc is such a success on mobile, that it is getting a release on console and pc this December. If this doesn't convince you to try it yourself, I don't know what will.
