I use Google Lens daily. Perhaps to capture a list of songs (from a screen cap) of Spotify to paste into my notes. Or to grab a snippet of text from a news article on the TV screen and paste the text into a Google search for the full news story. I can even grab a screen cap of an actor in a movie to find out more about the actor... and sometimes, depending on the shot, you can get information on the movie itself! Regardless of what you are wanting, Lens does a deep dive for you! 🤓

This has helped me so many times trying to figure out what things were, but the real winner here is the translate option! I've never used it before until now! I recently bought something where the instructions were in another language. Pulled up Google Lens and was able to translate it. I actually started my screen recorder, and I clicked the "listen" open to have it read. Now when I go to put this together, I'll just play the screen recording and pause it whenever I need to!

Lens has successfully helped me identify dozens of buildings, towns, gardens all around Europe in photos I took over twenty years ago but have since lost my diary record. A very useful, time saving app. I also use it regularly to successfully translate less familiar languages (Japanese, Icelandic, etc) but strangely it gives varying translations according to how far the device is held from the text. Nevertheless it always provides useful insights.
