RealCalc Plus is the pro version of RealCalc, one of Android's most popular scientific calculators. RealCalc Plus is designed to look and operate exactly like a real hand-held calculator. It has all the standard scientific functions plus fractions, degrees/minutes/seconds, history, memories, customizable unit conversions and constants. You can choose from a number of display styles and formats. It also supports binary, octal and hexadecimal calculations and has an optional RPN mode. This has been the only calculator I've used for 11 years now. It's one of the very few apps I have which have lasted this long while still being updated. From new phones and tablets, it's always in the bottom left corner of my home page. As for reliability, on the off chance the app malfunctions I would assume it was a problem with my phone, not the app. Bottom line is it won't replace a graphing calculator, but it definitely does not disappoint. Buy it.

Like others I bought this at least 10 years ago and it's one I always come back to. I don't like the simple default calculators that come on phones. Even if I don't use the advanced features that much, it's nice to know they're there. The nostalgia feeling is great too. I'll often load up RealCalc on my phone instead of grabbing my real life calculator especially if the room is dark, that's no problem for RealCalc.

Of all the software calculators I have used over the past 22 years, RealCalc is the best by a wide margin. Transitions between number bases is easy; important to me because I work in hexadecimal all day. Yet it's a strong accounting calculator when I need that; not to mention fraction calculations when I'm in the shop. Settings give it flexibility beyond my usage needs. I bought the Plus version when I saw how much I was using it and have been completely satisfied.
