I was having a hard time connecting the drone to the wifi as well but i finally connected it. You just need to go to settings. Scroll down. You will see an instructions tab. Click on it. That will guide you on how to connect to the wifi.

Not the worst RC drone app but it has room for improvement. The features aren't well described and the icons aren't very clear on what they each do. It just needs some polish and a redesign of the icons to be more descriptive and it would be good.
