app is good. however, I'm not sure why but the android chrome version (where I often find myself when clicking links from other apps or other sites) seems to have trouble directing to the app when I try to heart a specific post, and instead directs to the app store page rather than taking me directly to the post on the Tumblr app. pressing "open in app" on the upper right of an account page seems to work fine though.

Edit: the developer responded within 10 minutes and helped me report the ad. There's still issues with Tumblr as a whole (that can get someone banned) but the app has worked well as a platform for the blogging website. Previous review read: Allows ads that automatically open in full screen, that reopen unless you can somehow scroll past in the half a second that the ad is closed. unusable.

Tumblr has been the best experience I've ever had in any social media. the algorithms is so in tune with what I like. I joined Tumblr to share art and look at other people's art and so far that's all I've been getting and it's been delightful. no politics, no thirst traps, only awesome art.
