The app runs really slow, no matter what kind of Wifi/mobile data I'm on. Checkout is an absolute nightmare. Initially it only gives you PayPal as an option, but then won't use your automatic PayPal log in information. There is a button to use a debit/credit card instead, but it doesn't work. After three tries, it finally went to PayPal correctly, but then autofilled the name and address to the one in PayPal, instead of where I actually wanted it shipped.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE APP, NOT HOME DEPOT ITSELF. I've consistently had great service at my local Home Depot and am very happy with the store and shopping there for my home project needs. The app needs work though. It has the same look and feel as the website, which I do like, but it is unbelievably slow and lags and freezes every time that I use it. Maybe it needs more bandwidth or more storage at the servers, but the app drives me crazy. I try to avoid using it if I'm anywhere near a computer

The app is so very slow. Every time you go back to your search from looking at an item or change pages it resets the sort settings. when trying to search for a selection of colors, it filters out everything if it doesn't match all the colors in the search (and vs or). If you leave the app in the background and come back to it, it resets as well. This app definitely needs improving. The website is not any better than the app. Compared against Lowes' app, Lowes has a significantly better platform.
