A lot of upgrades and fixes have been made in the latest release (Feb 2023). I use this app often on both Mobile & PC for writing my game script, and honestly it's the best I've used. The author has been very responsive, fixed bugs mentioned in previous reviews, and given the app a general overhaul with many new and useful features (like rich text formatting, syncing with yWriter on PC through Dropbox, and exporting to flexible formats. Highly recommend giving this latest version a try!

I've been using YWriter since v5, at first because it was free and portable--I could load it onto a portable drive and use it on any computer--and then because it's simple enough I can stay focused, but with the right features to help me outline and organize larger projects. Now that I'm on my phone so much more than my computer, I'm thrilled to find it's on Android! It's always been reliable on desktop and the mobile app seems great so far!

Seriously the best novel-writing app available. Great organizing abilities, even if it is a stripped down version of the Mac/PC program. The ability to sync between my home PC and my phone on the go through Google Drive is invaluable!
