TLDR; Amazing FREE app for learning to code! Unlike other coding apps that will let you do a few lessons and force their pro plan, this app is completely free (with ads). There's an optional subscription, but it's for practice lessons and extra lives if you run out. You're never stopped by a paywall at any point, which makes it the best coding app in my opinion. They have several different courses for different languages, so you're not stuck learning just one if you want to pick up another.

Sololearn has helped me so much in my career. Its bite sized content sections, real life coding practice, and the AI features have helped me excel. I love the "code battles," too. I've been a Max/Pro member for years! If you're dipping your toes into coding, it's great. If you're brushing up on less frequently used languages, it's great. It's just all around GREAT! And, it's not just an app. you can log in on their website and access the same content! I prefer taking my courses on my computer.

Awesome app, would highly recommend for beginners. I have one complaint, I earned a bunch of bits and tried to use them to get more hearts ❤️. It took all my bits and didn't refill my hearts. Very disappointed 😔. Ok, it finally refilled them but now I have to start that lesson all over again instead of being able to continue. Could use a glossary or something of all the important words. Example: Algorithm.
