This is one of the more functional apps I have used. The search function is easy to use and does a good job guessing my often times garbled searches. I like the nutrition details and ingredients list. The labels (GF, non-dairy, etc) are helpful. The grocery pickup service works well and the food substitution feature works well. It is easy to apply coupons and rewards. The app does a good job of notifying when orders are ready. It is easy to book pickup times for orders. Overall a functional app.

I'm a shaws employee and enjoy the app personally. I use it for coupons and employee deals and it works great. However something needs to be done to cater to the average customer. If you are young and use smartphones daily for everything, the apps functionality is amazing. But for the amount of older people who I primarily see shopping at the store, something about it is just not easy for them to use. I am lucky to have an elderly customer who understands the app and doesn't get angry at us.

This app is sometimes difficult to maneuver and it doesn't always work. I have clipped coupons and made sure they were in my basket. I am fairly tech savvy but I find this app is very difficult for older folks to use. I think people should have the choice of using the app or a card. It would be easier for the older folks to swipe a card especially if they do not have a computer,ipad,iPad, smart phone.
