This is my first experience using taxestogo with a new accountant this year and it was very simple and straightforward. The simplicity of the app is just taking photos of your documents and clicking send to upload them to your profile. Having the app being straightforward is the ease of understanding how to operate the app, not too difficult to communicate with your accountant. I would recommend this to every accountant to use in order to upscale their clientele.

I like the app and it is a useful tool for me, especially for the clients that work away from home and can not come in in person. Some clients did complain that it was difficult to upload documents and often gave up and emailed me documents instead. Also I feel that those clients that used the app a prior year should be able to just log in to the previous app and not have to create a new account again

From the user perspective, the app is fine, but is missing some really basic features. No place for my accountant to upload my finalized tax return so I can view it later. Also no ability to upload excel or csv files. So I end up sending those to my accountant outside of the app. It's also just a little clunky with the uploads. (You can't delete something that is uploaded twice, and it asks for drivers license twice.)
