It's not a zombie shooter, you do that a tad in the beginning and then it's a side activity which ends quickly. This is more of an idle city building war game. Pay to play (obviously) but you can still enjoy it without spending money. This does add on time required to do stuff but still doable. You do hit the point where things start taking days to upgrade so it hits a dragging spot but they are generous with speed ups, bonus events for extra supplies and equipment.

It's so sad, actually. Such a great game, a great idea, very enjoyable, but only for a few days. After reaching level 15-16, it becomes uninteresting because you're just doing the same thing. There's no fighting zombies anymore, just growing, waiting days for upgrades, then a little play, and again, waiting days. I wish the play time was longer and there were more real zombie fighting episodes. Still a great idea.

No Ads and relatively quick game play. It's def P2W but there's plenty of engagement if you don't want to pay, you'll just move slower with shorter play sessions. Join a clan and communicate for the best experience. or go solo and kill some Zs casually. The shooter game that all of the Facebook ads show is really just a mini-game inside this, and there are a dozen others. Your time will be spent base building and map harvesting.
