As of now, I'm still a greenhorn when it comes to machining. So my knowledge of how to set tools at the right speeds is lack luxture, but this app has been a great help in learning as well as not breaking tooling with incorrect speeds and feeds. I also use to find the correct drill sizes for taps which is always a bit difficult without a proper chart.

Generally very good. The material catalogue exclusively uses number designations, which is fine if you know the provenance of what you're working on, but a more verbose listing would be great in the case of home workshop 'mystery meat' materials. Other than that, it's an excellent app that does everything I've asked of it and loads that I haven't yet.

Awesome app, everything in my machinists handbook and more and sooo much easier to find everything, really well laid out. love the calculator design and all the help tips that pop up when you're looking for something. awesome amount of thread data, really useful when you're doing uncommon thread tolerances, only had a couple of 7hs that weren't listed, but they were a pain in the ass to find online too. I would recomend this app to anyone working in a jobshop or just starting out as a machinist
