The app allows you to turn off/on speakers remotely, tells you their battery life, allows you to control various function like their volume, bass/treble/mid, lets you talk through the speakers, and has extra features like making your speaker an alarm clock that can play your playlist, and the speaker doesnt need to be on for most of these functions to apply to it. Great app, compatible with most UE speakers from what ive seen but my Wonderboom 3 does not show up.

bought 2 boom 2 speakers last xmas. one we configed to be his, one mine, but mostly we listen to Pandora on both in stereo. sound is good, much better than phone (both of us have note 9s). but there's a lot to be desired from the app, programming, and pairing. For example each of us needs to connect to the other's speaker after the initial labeling, can't connect to our own. the tap-skipping features don't work on either speaker. And with these devices, there should be much more. EG:Megaphone

The UI is a little cumbersome but the app does work fairly well. I use this just about every day. I own two UE BOOM 2 speakers. I use this app to pair them together. Connecting them together is a little slow. Turning off a speaker is somewhat slow. But I don't mind the hassles because it's good enough. I've never had problems with disconnecting or sound control issues. Other systems might be more convenient but at a higher cost.
