Great game, but two minor problems. It would be nice to have the score on screen during a point rather than just before the serve. Also sometimes the hawk eye system gets it wrong, usually when serving down the centre line. I've had several occasions where the ball is clearly out on the replay, but it's been called in on review. Still 5 stars though!

Wow.. I've read a review in a games blog claiming that Tennis Champs is the best "oldschool/pixel" Tennis game ever created..and indeed this is true!! My favorite oldschool Tennis game used to be "Wimbledon Tennis" on Sega Game Gear, but this one beats it! I guess most people who don't like it must be born after the Amiga/NES/SNES/Sega era and just aren't used to this kind of slower and very challenging Tennis game.. (no, it's definitely not as "user friendly" as Virtua Tennis 😉 )

unbelievable physics but touch control mode's ai is poor. i maxed both agility and speed but my player's running ai dont thinks she is capable of. needs improvement. gameplay is so realistic and playable. buy it
