I’m currently in Dubai, but the US Store version of the app doesn’t work properly here. It fails to connect with my family in India, and I can’t make calls or send messages. However, the imo.im version from another region works perfectly and is completely free. Please fix the regional compatibility issue or make the working version available in all stores.

Good way to keep in touch with family and friends. I updated the app as requested but an Update message keeps popping up when I open the app even though I updated it already. Updated review: I stopped the constant request for Update by uninstalling the original download of imo. Now I see in the Google App store two diffrent developer names. One is "Baby Penguin" and the other is "imo.im". Now I'm not too familiar with how these apps work but can someone enlighten me as to who is who or are they diffrent versions of the same App? Thanks.

The first version was better. It allowed you to add certain chats to your home screen. This one asked if I wanted a shortcut created, I said yes and I can't find where it is. I can no longer select no sound or vibrate only as an optional ringtone. I went to settings, unchecked the sound box, and it still makes a sound when I receive notifications. I just may have to remove it altogether if these things are not fixed.
