YouTube Kids is great for preschoolers. My 4yr LOVES this app. it only shows videos that are right for my son using filters to keep out all the bad stuff. I set a timer for how long hes on it otherwise he'll stay on it all day if he could. He can navigate his way around the App all by himself it has lots of shows and videos that are fun and educational. there are no comments sections or live chats so your kids can't talk to people they don't know. I Highly recommend 😊

Using this on my smart TV.. For my nephew's and niece. Quite helpful. Has lots of good kids educational story's. But there's also inappropriate videos of cartoon, a cartoon but with ridiculous contents. To me it's a little bit hard to avoid those items... 😅. Restriction wise by adult is quite useful to select appropriate videos or cartoons to watch. I wish the choices of videos, cartoon, documentary or shows for kids has varieties of subtitles like English, Malay and different other languages.

Honestly surprised how good this app is. the UI is simplified while still allowing things for adults like screen sharing to the TV. The only suggestion I'd have is maybe have a "watch mode" where there is still no auto play (thanks for that being default) but the screen cant be interacted with so I can have a video going without worrying about my kid leaving the app or accidentally hitting the settings in the UI. Genuinely a good sign that youtube put forth real effort for improving.
