About this app

I've made this app for real old school photographers or advanced amateurs shooting analog photography. For the price of a soda you will support hundreds of hours of work. LightMeter's reflected light meter only works with devices that are able to save exposure to exif. Incident light meter usually works on any device but... Be advised that the precission and quality of this and all phone light meters is limited by the device itself. I recommend using the reflected light option, the precission can be really good. Features: -ISO range from 3 to 6400. -Incident light metering (needs light sensor) -Reflected light metering (needs camera, only a few are compatible) -Low light alert. -Camera can be muted. (not in all countries) -Exif and sensor info displayed on screen as an option. -Calibration. -Vibration on measure/hold. -Incident light reading can be held. -Alternative ISO selector. -State and ISO recall on resume. -Spot measure if camera has zoom. -Support for all screens, including extra high resolution. Easily the best light meter app I have found. I've tested it against professional meters on multiple phones. It is always dead accurate. If for some reason it is not, it even has the ability to calibrate your readings! Easily worth buying if you do photography with manual cameras. It's a wonderful bit of my kit that has never failed me!

I used an old Weston V analog light meter for my film work as well as a newer Sekonic Digital Light meter And honestly this app works just as well 98% of the time. When shooting color negative film the results have always been very pleasing and exactly what I was going for depending on my metering needs. I surely hope that this product continues to develop and will someday have the features that the iOS version has.

I shot an entire vacation using this app. 8 rolls of film with essentially very basic entry level knowledge of film photography. In terms of exposure, almost all photos turned out looking great. I tried using other apps and they just weren't as intuitive as this one. I like how simple this app is and for someone who has probably bought less than 10 apps ever, this is one that I am happy I paid for.
