It's a great app that lets you read Kindle books. Unfortunately, because of the way Kindle books are configured, the narration is not always smooth (pauses mid-line). Some other apps have superior voices, but you can't beat the fun cloning voice feature, and it works very well. I just got a message that my HD voices were used up and would renew in a week. App statistics show I listened for 5 hours and 50 minutes over the past 6 months. I expect a lot more from a yearly subscription in 2025!

When scanning a book it is very important to align your your source to where it is very well lit. Often, it will separate a word that needn't be. I attribute the alignment problem with my newness to the use of the app and the equipment I am using to scan. Overall, I am pleased and believe it will deliver in the areas I need assistance with. Any suggestions about how to utilize the service better would be greatly appreciated.

When it works, it's great. I sprung for the premium version to see how I like it, and I must admit the premium voices are very good, but few of them still sound like robots. I wish there were more variety of English Accents from different regions. Now the "eh" part, Speechify continually has trouble converting text files and will miss out the beginnings and ends of sentences all too frequently; it doesn't matter the type of text file. This is a continual issue that Speechify has not rectified!
