At first, I really liked this app and found it fun to use. Unfortunately, three days after use it has now started flagging a wrong note immediately after each correct one. Problem still occurs after reinstallation of the app. I now have to set it to ignore errors which is not good for tracking my note accuracy. For a paid app this should not happen. If it was fixed, I would give it 5 stars. *Update: Dev replied - now works with sound effects disabled to prevent reverb in room. 5 stars given. :-)
Hi Paul, I actually do have an update in the works with a revamped audio detection engine, but in the meantime: this issue is generally caused by the app's sound effects reverberating in the room you're in, and being picked up again by the microphone. Try turning the volume down (or even off) and this issue should go away. Hope that helps! -Thomas

A very good app. To those having problems with note recognition, here is my solution: Change your phone to "auto rotate" and flip it over so the charging port is the new "top" of your phone when the app is running. This uncovers the speaker (on the s9+ anyway) and greatly improves fidelity.

This is a great app! I use it for piano as well as band students. I love that I can customize levels to meet each individual student's need at the time of the lesson. A simple to use app that drills note recognition is exactly the kind of tool I need in my toolbox when teaching a lesson and this app is it.
