Excellent! As a casual astronomer, it has everything I want. I can call up a constellation to study the star names. The encyclopedia disappears automatically when my phone is raised above the horizon. Similarly, settings buttons disappear when the phone is above the horizon, keeping full use of the screen. Helpful zoom. Great graphics. Full control over how much info I want displayed. Excellent settings menu. Perfection! I suspect that some complaints are due to not understanding the settings.

This is a great app, I use it frequently. I especially like the figures superimposed over the constellations that they represent. My only complaint is that the compass calibration is not as accurate as I would like and does not hold its calibration. I am a stickler for precision as it i s necessary for accurate viewing. Thanks for a great app otherwise.

Super smooth U.I, 60 FPS is a big plus! But more importantly, it's accurate, at least while on a Wi-Fi network and location/GPS enabled. After using the app for around ten minutes, I decided to go ahead and buy the full version. The sheer selection of search options is fantastic. You wouldn't normally have all these objects being displayed on any other app. Well worth the $3!
