Godlike game! Really fun, great replay value and awesome sprites. Plus, the first time you open the "paid" shop, a big pop-up appears saying "hey, you don't have to buy this unless you want to! All content can be unlocked in-game, so don't buy this unless you want stuff early or wanna buy us a coffee." I think that's an awesome business model, and the main reason I'll buy the DLC for a couple bucks. Keep improving the game and adding new music and it'll be tiptop!

The improvements that have been made to this game have turned it from good to great in my opinion. There is plenty of strategy and luck in pretty even parts, and you can create your dungeon in each run to suit an idea or play style without too much trouble. My only gripe is that one of the updates seems to have broken an in game purchase that I made (monster succession). Edit: I misremembered which pack I bought, not the devs fault! Edit2: They're still improving on it.

Highly rated, so I bought it on sale. Long story short, I've now been playing for nine months and can't stop. An incredibly deep game with some complex strategy, but all you have to do is play and you figure things out as you go along. If you're in a hurry to learn then you can go to reddit or the wiki, but those are NOT necessary to progress. Also, this is the way mobile games should be done: base price of the game is cheap, and there are NO ADS! There's a whole bunch of IAP, some cosmetic and some game-related, but none are necessary, in fact I've unlocked many of the items just by playing the game and earning achievements. So, it seems that most IAP is there for impatient players with large wallets. The exception is the reasonably-priced expansions with new game modes: these are nice to have, but the basic game is deep. There is some grinding for devil stones (game currency), but it pays off with unlocks: new abilities, facilities, maps, buffs, and much more. In addition, there's the satisfaction of moving up difficulty levels. Last but not least, the developer is consistently improving the game: adding better features, new content. This is my favorite game on my Galaxy S4 tablet.
