Pixel Cup Soccer is a retro-style arcade game, with fast-paced gameplay, is just the fun part of soccer and a great evolution from its predecessor! Play friendly matches, tournaments, or create your team and lead it to glory in career mode! You can enjoy it solo or team up with a friend locally for some competitive or cooperative action! It features great pixel art and soundtracks that evoke nostalgia of the glory days of the 80s and 90s arcade games. Move, pass, and shoot the ball to victory! You will learn to play in one minute, but it takes much longer to master it. The simple controls enable a rich set of features such as charging and aiming your shots, directing your corner kicks and throw-ins, shooting lobs, slide tackles, and more. Play Modes: Friendly Match (standard match or penalty kicks) Competitions Career Mode Features: Simplified controls for casual players. Simple to pick up and enjoy, with clean and challenging gameplay. Retro-style art resembling old games and evoking nostalgia. Women’s Soccer. Penalties, Free Kicks. Great soccer arcade game with very, very light sim elements. Great fun and very simple and easy to pick up. Does have a career mode. Sound and even graphics are very reminicent of ZX Spectrum, but more colorful. It's like a succesor to Match Day 1 and 2, and also to Super Soccer.

I had played Pixel Cup Soccer back in 2017 and it was my favourite Soccer game. When it got taken down i was really upset. But now when i saw this it was an instant buy for me. And boy i am blown away by the sheer awesomeness of the game! It's superb! Picks up the best parts of the 1st game and expands upon them quite significantly. This is arguably the best football game on the play store and probably the only one without any micro-transactions. Controls are top notch and the graphics as well!❤

Figured I'd spring for the full game to see what career mode had to offer. Apparently, what it offered included a bird infestation, a pitch invasion by a porcupine, aliens deciding the pitch was a good place for crop circles, and alien abductions, among other things. Yeah, wasn't expecting all that...but I like that this game doesn't take itself super seriously.
