This game is not what it seems... Inspired by creepy/bad edutainment games from the 90s, Baldi's Basics® is a meta horror game that's really weird, with no real educational value to be found. The goal of the game is to collect seven notebooks, and then escape the school, but that's easier said than done! You'll need to learn all the ins-and-outs of the game to come up with a winning strategy and avoid being caught by Baldi. Learning how to use Baldi's friends to your advantage, wisely managing the items found throughout the school, and memorizing the layout of Baldi's school are all keys to success! This game has two modes, story and endless! • Story mode requires you to collect 7 notebooks and then escape the school to win. The more notebooks you collect, the faster Baldi will become! Simple, but very challenging. • Endless mode is a challenge to see how many notebooks you can collect before being caught by Baldi. Over time Baldi will speed up, but each time you successfully solve the problems in a notebook he'll slow down. The longer you can keep his speed down, the more notebooks you can collect! This is an official port of the original game with touch screen controls and controller support! Check out the options menu to adjust these features to your liking!

I love this game. The aspects of horror are well-executed with the 90s style graphics and weird anomalies roaming the school. Now for those who gave this game 1-star 1. The third question is supposed to be like that to anger baldi and start the game (I mean look at the screenshot 🤦♂️) 2. All of the other characters are obstacles that add challenges to winning 3. It's not that scary Apart from that this has replay value that makes me want to go back and play it again. Good job.

I see a lot of problems, including various items not working. First of all, the Big ol' Boots is meant to stop 1ST Prize from pushing you. Baldi (only in this version, not in plus or classic remastered), gets faster for each question that is wrong. Buggy because the game is three years old, and might not work so well. I look forward to future updates to Plus and Classic Remastered. I can't wait to see what future awaits Baldi and his friends.

This horror game is very unique compared to all of the other ones. I love how intense the game can get within a split second. This game was purposely made to look like a cheesy 90's video game, which explains the horrifying graphics. The reason why the 2nd Notebook - 3rd Question is just gibberish is because the game gives you super easy questions. When you get a question wrong, Baldi gets mad and starts chasing you around the school. The game would be too easy without the impossible question.
