Word Battle is an exciting and addictive, real-time, multiplayer word game. You can choose your opponents either from friend and family cycle or wide Facebook user audience. Gameplay: each user is given the same 9 random letters where each letter has some value assigned. In 40 seconds, you need to come up with a word, which gives you as many points as possible. It is up to you what strategy you choose to win a battle. The one with the highest word score wins. Word building is really fun! Moreover, the ability to compete and chat with others makes it even more gripping. Word Battle is a great game to practice spelling skills. Great timed word game! Quick, fun & challenging! The better your word skill the higher point spread on Leaderboard & something to shoot for. Play with 3 others & 4 chances to create words from random letters with option to 'buy' letters for nominal fee. Game gives 3 coins for 1 day then adds more on consecutive 'entered' days with a 9 coin limit per day! Game is timed & just like buying letters, you can 'buy' more time if needed but your opponents get to use your time too to make more points!

I love these types of games. I wish there was a way to chat with others when not playing to get tips etc. Almost everyone seems to be very high levels. So I feel like a noob. Wish there were games against a computer or same level players to practice against. The solo match game available has no opponent so no way to know if you're doing well that round or not..

I have had this app. for years and play daily. My only issue I have is the extra time, extra letters options during play. It ruins the game for me when players hit all the extra letters and all the extra time every play. If it's a timed game with everyone having the same letters, it should be kept at that. It's super annoying to play with players that always max out all the extras every play. Also, there are words sometimes that are questionable, words I can't find in any dictionary. Thank you.
