It took me a while to get used to how things work in the game but now I love it! (make sure you sell goods and upgrade your speed and idle gathering etc, it makes a huge difference!) I have spent a little money because I like to support games i enjoy, but you can play without spending if you want. The familiars are super cute! The characters are kind of fun, though your dialogue choices don't really make a difference. All in all I recommend!

UPDATED: You dont need to spend real money. You will get coins and gems easily and gradually you only need to be patient. The same goes for the special events. Remember to SELL your produce (you'll make it all back in no time), UPGRADE the upgradables (faster grow rate, longer collection time, and quicker crafting), CHECK the special orders (it refreshes every 30 minutes), and COME back every now and again. This game is a good distraction without the addictiveness of most mobile games.

I love the simple gameplay and the story line. It is a very relaxing game. The design aspect needs could be updated, though. When I want to move things around and decorate, it is very limited. You can't add paths or fences around the game objects that are already in place and it also doesn't give the option to edit the path and objects that have been automatically placed in the game.
